Peter Kuchar

Father

When Matt was 12, his mother, Meg, upgraded their country club membership to include golf. Matt and his father, Peter Kuchar, tried golf and were hooked.  Peter has been closely tied to Matt's game ever since.  In fact, Peter caddied for Matt during the 1998 Masters and U.S. Open, where Matt finished 21st and 14th respectively and was the low amateur in both tournaments. Peter also is an excellent tennis player who was ranked No. 1 in doubles at one time in the state of Florida.
